Employers who subscribe to the Texas workers compensation insurance scheme are afforded protections under the law that the ordinary working man is not allowed. Except for under very narrow circumstances, Texas law does not allow an employee to sue his employer for an on the job injury provided that the employee is a workers compensation subscriber. If your loved one has died from mesothelioma, or one of the many other forms of cancer linked to asbestos, you need a law firm experienced in navigating its way around the road blocks employers have built to insulate themselves from responsibility. Heard Robins Cloud & Black, LLP routinely files cases against former employers for our clients, employers who would use the workers compensation scheme as a shield and escape responsibility.
